The York City Police would like to report the arrest of Anthony “A-Rod” Colon for felony drug and weapons possession. Colon, 19, of York, has had several prior incidents leading to the revocation of his bail. Additionally, the York City Police has identified Colon as a person of interest in several of the recent shootings and shots fired incidents.
The City of York announces to residents and visitors that there will be no street sweeping on Friday, April 2, 2021, in observance of Good Friday. City offices will be closed during this holiday. Street sweeping operations will resume on Monday, April 5th.
The 22 Annual William Shaffer Trout Fishing Derby is planned for Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Kiwanis Lake, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, in the City of York.
