The City of York - Bureau of Health is once again participating in this vital observance as routine vaccinations during childhood and adolescence can prevent many diseases that were once very common.
In a display of solidarity and community support, Penn Market in York, Pennsylvania has opened its doors to vendors affected by the recent unfortunate incident at Broad Street Market in nearby Harrisburg.
CDBG funds must be used to meet at least one of the following federal objectives: Benefit to low and moderate-income persons; prevention or elimination of blight; and urgent need. On Friday, July 7, 2023 at 6 pm at William Penn High School, the City of York, York County Special Olympics, and the York City School District will be honoring local legend and international Special Olympics spokesperson Loretta Claiborne, as well as her fellow athletes. The day will be proclaimed “Loretta Claiborne Day.
