The City of York would like to alert motorists to congestion on multiple streets due to ballot collection occurring at the York County Administrative Center (28 E. Market Street) in Downtown York.
Until 4:00pm today (Nov. 1) motorists can expect delays on E. Market Street (from approximately Newberry Street to the ballot drop off location east of George Street), George Street (northbound and southbound to the square), and N. Beaver Street (southbound to Market Street). We ask that motorists avoid E. Market Street (eastbound to George Street) to provide easier access to York County residents wishing to drop off ballots.
Drive-up access in front of the York County Administrative Center will also be available on Election Day, Nov. 3, from 7am to 8pm.
