The following events will take place this weekend and affect traffic in the City of York:
Saturday April 29
YWCA Race Against Racism. The race begins at 10:00 am. East Market Street will be closed between Queen Street and Broad Street for the start/finish line. Portions of Market Street, Pine Street, Philadelphia Street, Hartman Street, Hay Street, Wallace Street and Chestnut Street are part of the race course. Flagger Force is handling traffic control. Motorists are encouraged to use caution and to allow extra time to get through the east end of the City.
Fang Around the Cauldron will close East King Street between South Duke Street and South Queen Street between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm.
