The City of York announced today that contractor Railroad Constructors, Inc. is expected to close certain city streets over the next three weeks. For each closure, the roads will start closing on a Friday at 6:00 PM and reopen in time for the Tuesday morning commute. The affected crossings and dates are:
- N Richland Ave (between Linden Ave and W Market St) March 14-18;
- Carlisle Ave (between Linden Ave and W Philadelphia St) March 21-25;
- Manchester St (between Park St and Company St) March 28-April 1;
- N Hartley St (between Park St and W Gas Ave) April 11-15;
- Roosevelt Ave (between St Paul St and Gay Ave) April 25-29;
- N Newberry St (between Cottage Hill Rd and Gay Ave) May 2-6;
- Grant St (north of W Gas Ave) May2-6;
Signage and detours will be in place.
