On Friday, October 4 , 2019, the City of York will be sponsoring its monthly “First Friday” which will run from 4pm until 9pm. Beaver Street between King and Philadelphia Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic during that time frame. Parking will also be restricted along Beaver St. In addition to the Block party on Beaver St., there will be activities in the Square. Parking will therefore be restricted on S. George St. and on East and West Market St. around Continental Square.
Royal square will also be sponsoring their First Friday in and around the 100 block of E. King St. Thus, the 100 block of E. king St will be closed to motorists from 4pm until 9pm
Motorists are encouraged to exercise patience and use extra caution in this area due to the large number of participants attending this event
