On Sunday October 13th, 2019, the 50th Crop Hunger Walk will descend upon the Square in York. This annual walk is a celebration and fundraising event to bring awareness to and help end hunger.
The event itself will cause a traffic closure to the first block of E. Market Street form 1:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Also occurring during this same time, will be the Annual farm to City Dinner which is a sit-down dinner with live music in the first block of N. Beaver St. from 1pm to 5pm. This will cause the closure of N. Beaver St. (between Phila and Market) beginning at 8 a.m. and reopening again at 7:30 p.m.
Motorists are encouraged to exercise patience and use extra caution in this area due to the large number of participants attending this event.
