The York Water Company currently handles billing and payments for City of York refuse service customers. However, effective January 1, 2025, York Water will cease to be the manager of billing for the City’s refuse customers.
Note that York Water will still be issuing water bills to be paid to them. Only the billing for trash and other refuse will revert to the City of York, reducing costs for the City. Payments for refuse will be accepted by York Water through January 31, 2025, after which all billing and payments will be made from and to York City’s Finance Office.
