On Monday January 11, 2021, the City of York Department of Fire/Rescue Services four (4) newest members will be sworn in by Acting Mayor Chaz Green at 11:15 a.m. at City Hall (101 S George St. York, PA 17401) in Council Chambers.
Paul Vincent, Jr. was born and raised in Burlington, NJ. After high school he attended Central Penn College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security Management. PFF Vincent has served as a 911 dispatcher for the past 5 years.
Thomas Staab is a lifelong resident of York County and is a 2007 graduate of York Catholic and a 2011 graduate of Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Politics and History. Prior to coming to the City of York, PFF Staab worked as a corrections officer for the Lancaster County Prison on the K-9 Unit.
Andrew Komar is originally from South New Jersey and moved to York in the mid 2000’s. He is a graduate of Central York High School and a 2015 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to becoming an employee with the City of York, PFF Komar served as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Lifeteam White Rose Ambulance.
Nathan Dunham is also a lifelong resident of York County and is a 2019 graduate of Spring Grove High School. Prior to being hired as a probationary firefighter, he worked for the York County Parks Department. He has served as a volunteer firefighter for the Nashville Fire Company as well as the City of York Department of Fire/Rescue Services.
