RESIDENTIAL FAIR PARKING PERMITS AVAILABLE
(July 1, 2022) York, PA – The City of York provides parking permits for residents that live on the designated blocks/streets during the York Fair, which runs from July 22nd to July 31st 2022.
In order to identify a resident’s vehicle, a permit system was developed. All resident’s living within the established area, wishing to park their vehicles on the street during the fair must have a permit properly displayed to avoid receiving a parking fine.There is a limit of three (3) permits for each household. Please bring proof of residency and registration cards for each vehicle needing a permit.
Permit is valid only within one block of the holders residence. Parking outside of your immediate area could result in a fine. Motorcycles WILL be issued a permit. Motorcycles SHOULD PARK ON THE STREET AND NOT THE SIDEWALK.
Street sweeping in the residential fair parking area will be suspended during the fair.
All normal parking laws remain in effect. The parking permit does not give you permission to park illegally.
Permits are available Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 thru Sunday, July 31st , 2021. Permits will be distributed from the Treasurer’s Office in City Hall located at 101 South George Street weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from the Police Department (located at 50 West King Street) weekdays from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
FAIR PARKING PERMIT GUIDELINES
Permit parking is in effect 24 hours a day for the duration of the fair.
Parking Enforcement Officers will be on patrol during this time.
Permit must be displayed on the drivers side rear window so it is visible from the street. We ask that you tape the permit to the window. If the vehicle’s driver side rear window is tinted, you may place the permit on the center of the dashboard. Placing the permit in the wrong location may result in a parking citation.
Permit must remain with the vehicle it was issued to. The registration number on the permit must be the same as the license plate on the vehicle. Permits cannot be transferred from one vehicle to another. Permits must be properly displayed by midnight July 21st, 2022 or the vehicle may be subject to a parking citation.

PERMISOS DE ESTACIONAMIENTO RESIDENCIAL DISPONIBLES DURANTE LA FERIA DE YORK
(1 de julio de 2022) York, PA – La Ciudad de York otorga permisos de estacionamiento para los residentes que viven en los bloques/calles designados durante la Feria de York, que se llevará a cabo del 22 al 31 de julio de 2022.
Para identificar el vehículo de un residente, se desarrolló un sistema de permisos. Todos los residentes que vivan dentro del área establecida y deseen estacionar sus vehículos en la calle durante la feria deben tener un permiso debidamente exhibido para evitar recibir una multa de estacionamiento. Hay un límite de tres (3) permisos por hogar. Traiga prueba de residencia y tarjetas de registro para cada vehículo que necesite un permiso.
El permiso es válido solo dentro de un bloque de la residencia del titular. Estacionar fuera de su área inmediata podría resultar en una multa. A las motocicletas SE les otorgará un permiso. Las motocicletas DEBEN ESTACIONARSE EN LA CALLE Y NO EN LA ACERA.
El barrido de calles en el área de estacionamiento de la feria residencial se suspenderá durante la feria.
Todas las leyes normales de estacionamiento siguen vigentes. El permiso de estacionamiento no le da permiso para estacionar ilegalmente.
Los permisos están disponibles del martes 5 de julio de 2022 al domingo 31 de julio de 2021. Los permisos se distribuirán en la Oficina del Tesorero en el Ayuntamiento, ubicada en 101 South George Street los días de semana de 9:00 a.m. a 4:00 p.m. y del Departamento de Policía (ubicado en 50 West King Street) los días de semana de 4:00 p.m. hasta las 10:00 p.m.
PAUTAS PARA EL PERMISO DE ESTACIONAMIENTO JUSTO
El permiso de estacionamiento está vigente las 24 horas del día durante la duración de la feria.
Los oficiales de control de estacionamiento estarán patrullando durante este tiempo.
El permiso debe exhibirse en la ventana trasera del lado del conductor para que sea visible desde la calle. Le pedimos que pegue el permiso a la ventana. Si la ventana trasera del lado del conductor del vehículo está polarizada, puede colocar el permiso en el centro del tablero. Colocar el permiso en el lugar equivocado puede resultar en una multa de estacionamiento.
El permiso debe permanecer con el vehículo al que se le emitió. El número de registro en el permiso debe ser el mismo que el de la placa del vehículo. Los permisos no se pueden transferir de un vehículo a otro. Los permisos deben mostrarse correctamente antes de la medianoche del 21 de julio de 2022 o el vehículo puede estar sujeto a una multa de estacionamiento.
