Declaration of Disaster Emergency (COVID-19)

(17 MAR 2020) York, PA — At its March 17, 2020 legislative meeting, York City Council approved a Declaration of Disaster Emergency due to concerns about the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. York City Council Will Transition To Virtual Meetings Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

(13 APR 2020) York, PA — The City of York continues to take proactive and preventive measures in alignment with the statewide stay-at-home order issued by Governor Tom Wolf.

In an effort to protect citizens and city staff, City Council meetings will transition to a virtual format beginning with its Tuesday, April 21st legislative session at 6PM. City Council members will teleconference in from remote locations while staff essential to participating in legislative sessions will meet in Council Chambers while implementing social distancing.
