Continuation of November 28, 2018
Committee Meeting
(November 30, 2018) York, PA — York City Council President Henry Nixon announced that City Council will continue its November 28, 2018 committee meeting to December 4, 2018 immediately following Council’s 6:00 PM legislative meeting. General public comment will be received after all city business matters are discussed and acted upon.
President Nixon stated that, “Continuation of the November 28th committee meeting is vital so as to allow Council to hear from all directors year 2019 projected income and budgeted expenses as they relate to programs and services for the City of York. Thus far, Council has received budget presentations from Elected officials, Business Administration, and Economic & Community Development. Tuesday’s continuation meeting will allow Council to hear presentations from Public Works, Fire, and Police, as well as discussion on the 2019 tax rate. In considering the budget Council may reduce any item and may increase or add items as deemed appropriate and/or necessary to achieve the City’s mission and its financial objectives.”
