The City of York announces today that work begins this week at Kiwanis Lake, beginning with the lowering of the water level. This phase of construction, part of a large undertaking funded by the Rotary Club of York and other partners, will last for several months.
Much of the East side of the lake, near Newberry Street, will be blocked off to pedestrians during this period. These much needed improvements to Kiwanis Lake will be completed in 5 phases over the next year.
