The City of York Department of Economic and Community Development and City of York Bureau of Health are pleased to announce the release of new social media graphics and a print ready file in both English and Spanish languages for York property owners and businesses to hang in their facilities during the holidays and winter season. These new graphics outline guidelines for customers including mask wearing and social distancing.
Masks are still considered critical in stopping the spread of COVID-19 and its variants, now and in preparation for a possible resurgence of the virus in the Spring.
“These graphics help to meet the changing needs of our businesses and provide clear guidelines to customers and staff on controlling and preventing the spread of COVID-19,” said Nona Watson, Director of Economic and Community Development. “The pandemic has demonstrated to us all how connected we are to each other. Our new signage reminds us how we need to keep doing all we can to protect our neighbors. In particular, we must redouble our efforts to safeguard who may be more vulnerable to severe infection from the novel coronavirus,” said Dr. Matthew Howie, Medical Director, Bureau of Health.
