KIVA York

Help Grow Small Businesses & Promote Local Job Creation

The City of York encourages local small business owners and entrepreneurs to explore opportunities through Kiva, an international crowd-lending website that provides zero-interest loans of up to $15,000. Kiva works with communities to offer financially excluded entrepreneurs access to capital, supporting small business growth and economic development.

Although the City of York is no longer an official Kiva Hub, we remain committed to connecting our entrepreneurs with valuable resources. This initiative continues to be supported by partners like PNC and the York County Community Foundation.

Kiva York Hub Trustees

Kiva York Trustees are organizations dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses in the City of York. These trusted organizations identify local entrepreneurs they believe in and endorse them as borrowers on the Kiva website, helping them gain access to zero-interest loans.

Trustee organizations often work across various sectors, including arts, banking, small business development, and mentoring, providing essential services and guidance to entrepreneurs. While the City of York is no longer an official Kiva Hub, we continue to encourage these partnerships that empower local entrepreneurs and drive economic development in our community.
