The annual Light Up York will be Friday, December 6 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. You are invited. The annual Light Up event brings people to Continental Square in a festive and merry spirit.
Be part of the tree lighting ceremony between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm on the Square. Director of the Department of Economic & Community Development Nona Watson will have the pleasure of flicking the switch.
Take the children to see Santa at Martin Memorial Library, 159 E Market St, between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
Other activities around the Square include photos with the Grinch, free hot chocolate and coffee by the Salvation Army, snow machines and hot cider and crafts by Keystone Kidspace, live reindeer, hand-held gaming with the York City Police Department, and an Inflatable Forest at Grotto Commons, 15-23 E Philadelphia St.
