As of Monday March 24th at 10 am, a new stop sign will be added to the intersection of N Queen St and Arch St. The new stop sign will be on the northbound lane of N Queen at Arch. This will create a 4-way stop, increasing traffic safety for City residents and visitors.
The pop-up series will run weekly on Tuesdays through April 22, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Pennsylvania American Water’s office location in York City Hall, 101 S. George St., York, PA 17401.
The City of York will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 18th at 6:00 PM to receive testimony on the proposed Comprehensive Plan, York2044. The hearing will occur in the City Council’s chamber at City Hall, 101 S. George St., York, PA.
The City of York is making requests for waste collections that are more convenient for residents with the launch of a new online request system for large item pickups and missed trash collections. Residents can now easily schedule a large item to be picked up or report missed waste collections through the City of York website.
The 39th Annual York Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2024. Please be advised this will impact parking along the parade route on Market Street.
