SPRING HAS SPRUNG

 
Spring has sprung, so why are you still sitting there? If you haven’t been as active as you have usually been or not active at all, this is the perfect time of year to begin establishing a few goals to get yourself moving and to become involved and committed to a healthier you.
Small easy healthy focused steps can help kick start you into a healthy routine.
·         Start walking for 20 minutes for 2-4 times per week. Not sure where to fit it in? You can walk over your lunch break or walk 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening. Switch it up and enjoy your community as scenery!
 
·         Pull your families bikes out of the garage and get riding. It’s always fun when you have company enjoying a ride along with you and the plus is, you’re promoting the importance of healthy activities with your family.
 
·         Decline the unhealthy sweets and pick up the healthy ones! Apples, bananas, pears, watermelon, honey dew melon, grapefruit, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries to name a few! Need I say more! You can cure your sweet tooth at the same time, while filling up with healthy sugars and a lot less calories.
Although, there’s many healthy changes and additions that you can make to your daily routine, we’re hoping that these will spark some interest in beginning the road to improving your health.
