York City Council Standing Committees and Calendars
Council Committees serve as working sessions of the legislative body to allow review and discussion of legislation and/or actions referred to it by the Council. Council established the following committees with the chairperson appointed to said committee serving as the Liaison to the respective department: Police, Fire, Public Works, Economic Development, Community Development, Business Administration, and Rules & Administrative Code.
Committee meetings may be held at 6:00 p.m. prior to Council's regularly scheduled meetings or at 7:00 p.m. on the Tuesdays when no regular meetings are scheduled. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers located at 101 S. George St., 1st Floor, York, PA.
