Help Grow Small Businesses & Promote Local Job Creation

The City of York has partnered with international personal crowd-lending website, KIVA to become the first KIVA Hub in Central Pennsylvania. Through KIVA York anyone can help grow small businesses and promote local job creation by supporting borrowers with a loan as small as $25. The KIVA York Hub will enable the community to pool small lending contributions to provide access to capital by providing zero interest loans up to $10k for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Through such a partnership, financially excluded entrepreneurs in the City of York will be able to access capital at a greater scale, spurring economic development through small business growth. This partnership has been made possible by the York County Community Foundation
