2014 York City Bike Night
Friday, September 19, 2014 (6-10pm)
The Bike Night parade leaves from the York Expo Center at 6pm (staging begins 4:30pm). PLEASE NOTE: For 2014, motorcycles should enter the Carlise Avenue gate. The parade will leave through the Madison Avenue gate.
The Bike Night street party (parade, live entertainment on four stages, food vendors, information displays, and more) takes place in and around Continental Square in Downtown York City.'
Musical entertainment will be provided by Smokin Gunnz, Kayla Kroh, Beaver Street Band, and Shane Speal's Snake Oil Band. Visual comedian Pete Geist will be roaming the crowds entertaining guests throughout the evening.
This year's theme is "Baggers" and the parade will be led by a select group of bagger motorcycles, which will then be on display at Continental Square throughout the evening. Event guests will vote for their favorite bagger motorcycle (via monetary donation, with proceeds benefiting York City Special Events). The top vote-getter will receive a trophy, and all participants will receive a plaque. If you would like to be a part of this special group, please download the application form below. There is a $25 entry fee to be a part of this special group. There is no charge if you would like to participate in the general admission section of the parade. (As of 8/12/14, there are still limited spaces available in the Bagger display group.)
