2012York City Bike Night

This street party features a 2,000-motorcycle parade, live entertainment on three stages, and food vendors.

Parade Information:

Motorcyclists interested in participating in the parade should plan to arrive to line up at the York Fairgrounds around 4:30-4:45pm so that you are ready to line up by 5:00pm.

Motorcycles will flood downtown York starting at 6 p.m. when the annual parade leaves the York Fairgrounds by the Market St. gate and travels east on W. Market St., north on Broad St., and west on Philadelphia St., back to the downtown area. Persons traveling along these routes should expect delays while the roads are closed briefly for the parade. Keep in mind that King St. and Princess St. can be used as alternate routes for east and west bound travel.

The following streets will be closed from 5:30 p.m. until approximately 10:00p.m.

Parking will also be restricted on these streets starting at 4:00 p.m.

-W. Market St. from Pershing Ave. to Queen St.

-Beaver St. from W. King St. to W. Philadelphia St.

-George St. from King St. to Philadelphia St.

- Pershing Ave. from W. King St. to W. Philadelphia St.

Parking will be available at the Philadelphia St. & King St. garages. Due to the event, the Market St. garage will be closed.
